A standard gas cooktop installation is straightforward when there's already a gas point behind the cabinetry — we disconnect the old unit, connect the new cooktop, pressure-test the line and certify it. If your kitchen has no gas yet, we run a new line from the meter or LPG bottle to the cooktop location, which turns it into roughly a half-day job depending on the run.
We install every major brand — Bosch, Westinghouse, Smeg, Ariston, Fisher & Paykel, Chef, Electrolux and the rest — in both natural gas and LPG, and we can convert a cooktop's jets between the two where the model allows. Every job finishes with a Gas Compliance Certificate, which you'll need for insurance and for any future sale of the home.

Most cooktops ship with a conversion kit for the alternate gas type. We swap the injectors, adjust the settings, test and re-certify — as long as the manufacturer approves that model for conversion.
