Gas is not the place for unlicensed work or a cut-corner shortcut. Every gas job we do in Brisbane is carried out by a fully licensed gas fitter and signed off with a Gas Compliance Certificate where the work requires one.

Do you provide a Gas Compliance Certificate on Brisbane jobs?
Yes. Every gas job — install, repair or alteration — is certified by a licensed gas fitter and you receive a Gas Compliance Certificate on completion.

Can you install a gas cooktop where there's no existing gas?
Yes. We run a new gas line from the meter or LPG bottle through to your cooktop, then connect, pressure-test and certify the install.
I can smell gas — what should I do?
Don't panic, and don't light flames or switch electrical devices (including light switches) on or off. Turn off the gas appliance and open doors and windows. If you can still smell gas, turn off the gas supply at the meter or cylinder and contact your gas supplier or a licensed gas fitter — you can call us on 0405 275 741, we take emergency gas callouts 24/7. If you can still smell gas after turning the supply off, call 000. If there is a fire, explosion or uncontrolled gas leak, call 000 immediately and leave the area if it is safe to do so. This follows the Queensland Government's gas safety guidance.
